Great product, I ended up buying a second for my office.
This is a great adjustable desk, I ordered one Halter ED-600 in June 2017 and a second on January 2018. The desk is build well and very sturdy, I have two 23" monitors and two USB hub, and yet to adjust the height is still easy. Just a little muscle is needed, even my petite wife is able to adjust the height by herself, so not too much strength is needed to life the desk. Attached pictures to show some of the heights that I use. I have a bad back so I need to be able to stand when working or using computer at home. It is also just a healthier habit. It is very easy to setup and use.The Halter ED-600 desk comes fully assembled, just need to take it out of the box and take the plastic wrap off. Place it on top of a tabletop and your are set to go.To raise or lower the desk- squeeze the lever on both the right and left side of the top part of the desk and lift or lower to your desired height. See attached photos for the two lever. That's it, it will lock into place and if it doesn't just move it up to down a few centimeters and it will lock into position. There is no need to drill into a table top or flat surface to secure the Halter ED-600 desk into place. Even with two heavy LCD monitors on the top the desk is still very stable and doesn't wobble at all. This thing is build strong and using good materials.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good standing desk.

Well worth the price.
I was first looking at Varidesk.com, Very pricey, So glad I found this. The box arrived damaged, as if someone stepped on it when lying flat. A hole 14” by 6” with the cardboard piece taped back in place. I took the piece off before the UPS guy left and it looked ok. It wasn’t until I placed it on my desk when I saw a crack on the lower board, to the left of where the keyboard sits where you might place a mouse. It is split thru but held in place with the metal frame. Does not affect functionality but hey, it’s brand new. Went to the returns area of Amazon but only option was to return, what a pain. I was hoping to contact the manufacture to ask for just the lower board. Oh well. So, I am quite happy with it. Easy to put in place and adjust up/down,,,,, wait, I just checked the up/down movement, which is good, then I locked it in place and the left side did not lock. The bolt in the middle of the X worked its way out. Good grief! Had to take everything off to get it to line back up to get the bolt started (4mm allen wrench needed). The only thing I don’t like is the area left and right of the keyboard, there’s not enough room for a mouse. I clamped a board on the area, looks goofy but hey it works.

Excellent value at the deal of the day price, but you'll have to relocate your mouse
This standing desk was on sale as a deal of the day for $109. At that price it was the cheapest full size, heavyweight standing desk with mostly 4-5 star reviews I've seen to date (many discount standing desks are either too small to accommodate my two large monitors, or list a shipping weight under 30 pounds- a red flag for materials and build quality) which is why I bought it.I'll get the bad over with first. The single biggest issue is that there's no room for a mouse next to the keyboard. I attached a photo with a Sharpie for scale. You'll either have to use a rollerball (yuck), or put your mouse at the same level as the monitors. A standard mousepad will just barely fit sideways up there. The monitor platform is 36" wide, but not very deep at the back. There's also a plastic grommet for cord management that prevents you from placing the right monitor within 3" of the right edge. I use my left monitor as my primary, and used to keep it more toward the center of the desk. I can't do that anymore with this unit. The keyboard tray is deep, and the monitor platform doesn't overhang it at all. There isn't enough room for the CPU to be under one of the monitors. The unit occupies most of the usable (reachable) space on my desk, but doesn't offer enough platform space for the things I need. As a result, my phone went to the left of it, and my CPU is squeezed on the desk to the right. On my desk I ended up with nearly a foot of space behind the unit that I can't reach or use at all without walking around. The final "could be better" on the list is the location of the handles used to raise and lower the desk. They are centrally located on the sides of the monitor platform, and would be easier to use if they were close to the front. If this sounds like a long list of negatives for a four star review, it is. But all standing desks are compromises, and this one gets a lot of the important things right for cheap. First, it's heavy. There is a lot of metal. All of the edges are smooth, and the welds look good. It seems like the frame will last indefinitely. Next, this model goes straight up and down. A lot of them, including Varidesks, have a cantelever movement that brings the desk toward you as you raise it. This is fine if you have plenty of room to push your chair back behind you, but I don't. Next, the operation is smooth. The hydraulics could be a touch stronger, but any average person will have no trouble raising or lowering it. Perhaps most importantly, it's rock solid when raised. Typing imparts just the slightest bit of wobble to the monitors, but nothing distracting. I'm a big guy, and I feel no movement whatsoever on the keyboard tray when I press down. I think this is one of the most important factors if you're actually trying to get work done while standing- and this standing desk excels at it. In fact, I went to a co-worker's (also new) $400+ Varidesk, raised it, and saw a LOT more monitor wobble while I typed. Another co-worker has a generic standing desk with a keyboard tray that hangs from brackets. If you rest your hands on it, it feels sort of springy and cheap- but it does absorb vibration, and results in zero monitor wobble. You'll have to decide what's more important.Ultimately I wanted to be able to work while sitting or standing, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Despite some drawbacks, this standing desk fit the bill. At the deal of the day price it's a no brainier. At full price (usually $169 from what I've seen) I'd have to consider a model with room for the mouse at the same level as the keyboard, and a larger monitor platform that would also hold the CPU.

Easy as....
So, let me start by telling everybody that I am not paid or reimbursed in any way for this review. I have to make that clear, bc some people are, and some are not. So, now to the nitty gritty....the desk arrived fully assembled in the box. It's a matter of un-boxing and placing your desired items on the desk, and voila, you're done.I bought this desk, bc my office chair is such a disgrace, I figured I'd cough up the money and buy my own desk, and to hell with begging the bosses at work for something ergonomic. Some reviews stated that it takes a bit of elbow grease to lift and/or lower this beast, and that is true, BUT, do not let this discourage you, bc it really is not all that heavy. I am a woman, 135 lbs, and consider myself to be fit, and I lift and lower this Cadillac with no problems. I bought this desk in oak, bc it was on sale, and comparing this desk, to the other one you see on tv, well, it is just as good, if not better, and will save you at least $200. Functionality is 100%, and I couldn't be happier. Plus, all of my colleagues are too lazy to stand, even occasionally, so they wouldn't try and steal it . LOL..... I FULLY recommend this to anyone. If you're a pencil (or keyboard) pusher, or only get to your desk occasionally... this is the way to go.
