Works great but no Fahrenheit readings
We like this. We set it into our Formica countertop with some careful routing, and it looks great. We like the vertical orientation for countertop use. It does make some unobjectionable sound when operating, and you do need to allow ventilation underneath. It shows temperature in Centigrade only, so watch out for that. We usually just set it by power level rather than temperature. We use it as a serving pan warmer more than we use it for cooking, largely because we don't have a vent fan above it and because it is "only" 110 volt. It will cook, though.

Works well
Instead of P1 thru P9 I would prefer fahrenheit. It already has Celsius. It works really well. I'm very happy with my purchase.

A nice induction top
The fan and innards are a bit more noisy than others, though I believe that will disappear after mounting it in a counter top. It heats quickly and the touch response seems flawless so far.

High heating efficiency
I have to give credit to this halogen cooktop! It has an excellent texture, feeling quite luxurious to the touch. During use, I've found that its temperature control is extremely precise, meeting the needs of all kinds of delicate cooking. For example, when making desserts and simmering syrup over low heat, it can maintain a suitable temperature steadily, making the dessert - making process go very smoothly

Temps in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. Cord position strange.
This cooktop doesn't work for me since I am in the US and so are my recipes. I need something in Fahrenheit and not Celsius. Also, the electrical cord is really strangely placed! It is in the front of the cooktop rather than the rear. I can't imagine the reason for this since any outlet I know of will be behind the cooktop, not in front of it. To try it out I ran the cord under it and to the rear, and moved the entire thing to an outlet, but not where I would normally place it for use. Maybe these are not issues for other people, but it was for me. I test boiled a kettle of water and it heated it very fast and the surface cooled fast. I'm disappointed that this will not work for me.
