Always Wanted This Game!
I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I always wanted this game as a kid?! Well I ordered it for my wee boy’s birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Assembly was a bit of a faff but once that’s over with it’s such a fun game. It can go on for ages but has so far provided hours of enjoyment for me and my 2 kids (5 and 8). And for under 20 quid it’s a bargain. Highly recommended.

Good value at under £20
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this given the price and how expensive even pretty crappily made games usually are. Okay it's largely card, but it's is pretty solid and robust. The traps are fun and do work. My son loves it and both enjoys the game and messing around with the traps. It's good fun and really good for £16!

Fun, easy setup, simple gameplay
High quality retro fun for a young family, only niggle is the axe falls down on its own all the time haha

good
surprisingly entertaining game got it half price, the gimmick is super fun and simple enough for younger kids while enjoyable for grown ups too. Can't say the ghost glows much in the dark even after charged especially since it's difficult playing it in dark, the footprints are hard to see. It's not a problem though

Spot on
I had the original of this game once upon a time and was dubious about whether or not this version would recreate that same experience but actually I felt like it slightly improved on it - it streamlined the gameplay and the ball bearing instead of the skull makes the mechanisms work much more smoothly. The board builds up easily and the pieces that you use are sturdy - everything went together without issue. The fact that the box itself is the board is also great because it means you won't be picking the ball bearing up off the floor every time you trigger the traps (which happens often!)Only slight downer is that you have to unbuild everything to be able to pack it away - if you have a way of storing the board while it's set up (maybe in a larger cardboard box or something) then you'd be living the dream, but honestly I think the pros far outweigh that particular con. Definitely would recommend.

Wow this is a great game
So much fun and at a great price for a board game. I wasn't sure if it was going to be good quality or flimsy. I can report it is very good quality and definitely loads of fun easy to play and enjoyed by all ages

New.... Old great game
Great nostalgia for me, bought it to play at my sisters house over Christmas, who has too young children and they loved it, I remember playing it as a kid, way before video games, it was extra special at that time, left it there for them to enjoy.

Still a great game but not as well made as I remember
I bought this to relive some childhood memories and get my kids off their screens! The game was as good as I remember. It's random actions from the ghost dropping the ball really makes it fun. And the replay value is there aswell. Being able to play with 4 is also great fun, if a little crowded at times. So if it's great why not 4 stars? Well the game from the 80s had a box and separate board. But this version the box IS the board you play on. This means if you damage the box, the game itself is also potentially damaged too. Also the main structure originally was made more from plastic, whereas this is more card. Again easier to damage when putting it together. In fact we already have an errant bend in one section of the "castle" and while it hasn't stopped play, it does cause the axe trap to fall when it's not set off as part of the game.So I can't give five stars for the build quality but please don't let that put you off buying as with care it should last well and it's a fun game to play.
