These are NOT 100% GOTS cotton!! There is no evidence of GOTS certification on the packaging or product anywhere. It is also only 50% organic cotton. The other 50% is bamboo viscose. Bamboo viscose typically uses a pretty toxic process to produce which defeats the purpose of wanting to buy GOTS or organic items. It's extremely frustrating that the item details can be that misleading. I am so disappointed. Definitely do NOT buy if you are looking for an eco-friendly, non-toxic, natural product.

These diapers are very soft. But they are huge. We used the Oso Cozy size 1 from birth through 4 months. He is now 16lbs and wearing size 6-9 months clothes and the size 1s barely make it around his hips to clip. We don’t want to just fold the prefold in a straight line because too much breast milk poo will escape and mess the covers. These organic traditional large prefolds are huge though. We did not opt for the “better fit” because the description made them sound like they were just for use as inserts and not for a jelly roll wrap diaper. These traditional larges go from his lower back to his sternum when using a jelly roll fold. This feels way too bulky and I’m disappointed for sure.

I bought these instead of more size large clotheez prefolds when my 9 month old grew out of size medium clotheez. They are the perfect size for a 9 month,19lb baby with definite room to grow. These prefolds became so soft even after just one wash. I still prepped them like I did my other organic prefolds. The absorbency seems the same at my GMD clotheez large prefolds. The weave seems a little looser and more pilly than clotheez, so we'll see how they hold up. Measured size of prefolds once prepped is 13" by 18". Picture is of osocozy next to clotheez size large, both prepped.

Preps in 2.5 wash/dry cycles.Shrinks down to 13"x18"(We never use dryer sheets in the dryer so there is definitely never any residue to compromise absorbency)To test after each drying cycle: Fold and drop in a bowl of water, if they absorb the water and sink to the bottom right away, you are prepped 👍🏻The price is a bit high for us. We will go with regular cotton
