GM CLIMBING 20ft 8mm Double Braid Accessory Cord Rope Fluorescent : desertcart.in: Sports, Fitness & Outdoors Review: This 8mm Accessory Cord Rope has pleasantly surprised me with its quality and performance. When it comes to ropes, durability is paramount, and I can confidently say that this one matches up to any other ropes I've used. Whether I'm securing gear while climbing, camping or tackling various outdoor tasks, this cord has proven itself to be a reliable companion. What sets this rope apart is its incredible value. It delivers the durability and performance of more expensive options without breaking the bank. It's a versatile tool for any outdoor enthusiast or DIY enthusiast. So, if you're in the market for a dependable, 8mm diameter rope that won't disappoint and offers great value, this Accessory Cord Rope should be at the top of your list. It's an excellent addition to any adventurer's toolkit. Review: This GM CLIMBING cord is so reliable, I’m convinced it would hold up a suspension bridge if asked politely. Whether I’m securing gear, creating makeshift zip lines for squirrels, or just tying random knots to impress my friends, this rope handles it all with style and grace. The double braid? Oh, it's like the luxury seating of ropes—smooth, durable, and way fancier than anything my life requires. Pre-cut means less time measuring and more time doing things that make me feel like an action hero. And the CE/UIAA certification? That's just fancy talk for "we tested this so you don’t have to." Honestly, I trust this cord more than my Wi-Fi, my car, or that one friend who always promises to show up on time. Four stars for being the MVP of my outdoor adventures and my squirrel circus. 🐿️🎪

Good Prusik cord. I am happy with the way this 8mm cord works at making Prusik knots. I found it worked even with only 2 wraps instead of 3 although have decided to never do that. It’s very stiff, so wrapping the knot is more tedious than with the softer rope that came with the HSS hunter safety system I bought and repurposed for arborist climbing.loads and unloads well. Pros. Stiffness prevents unwanted snagging of rope when used as a failsafe an ascending or defending device like a Petzl patin or Petzl Pirana Cons. Sometimes it’s hard to get it to grab the rope initially. It certainly would grab if you Fell, but for positioning purposes this is not ideal. A more supple rope would be better if you load and unload often.
