Simple design effectively and elegantly supports all medium/large format books

If you are a purchaser of just about any Taschen published book, you know of their heft. This simple and elegant stand might appear, at first glance, to be unable to support such books. Do not be fooled. This display stand holds up and shows no signs of failing. It sure beats just dropping a beautiful book on a coffee table.

I like how modern this piece is and how well it blends with the contemporary decor of my home.I use it to display (and study from) by Bible. It's perfect!!! Any guest who enters my home will know immediately I am a believer!!

Excellent bit of design for doing exactly what it does. I appreciated the other comments here about oversize TASCHEN books as I have a number of them (and Phaidon, and Ammo, etc.), and it's no mistake that TASCHEN makes this little beauty. Like these volumes, if it's for you, it really is for you and you should consider this a solid purchase.

Had to order the book stand twice as the first one came scratched. But very pleased with my purchase.

Stabile and good for big photo books, nice design and easy to use

I think the Taschen book I placed on it is one size too big but it still holds up.

Nachdem ich die „kleine“ Helmut Newton Sumo Ausgabe (NP €125) erworben hatte, suchte ich noch eine gute Ablage, auf der das relativ große und dicke Buch repräsentativ aufgeklappt in meinem Wohnzimmer zum Liegen und Blättern kommt. Der erstaunlich kompakte Acrylglas-Buchständer vonTaschen schafft dies ohne Probleme. 40 Euro sind ein ziemlich ambitionierter Preis, aber es gibt kaum etwas Besseres und Stabileres dafür.
