CatTwig Attack-a-Tube Cat Scratch Tube

I got this for my boyfriend's cat. I think I like it more than he does. It's currently hiding under some piece of furniture and the cat doesn't seem to care. But I will say, when I find it and give it to him, he seems to enjoy it for 5 minutes. I really love that it has a bell inside it. I think it's definitely worth trying.

My cats lost interest in this in about five minutes. I thought it would be a fun scratch toy for them. They seem to enjoy the one I purchased that lays flat. I wish there was a way to fill it with catnip. The idea here to entice them to continue using this.

It doesn't roll smoothly since the rings of cardboard aren't truly round and have some flat sides. The cat nip is stale and comes in a tightly bound piece of cloth glued inside the toy. The bundle barely released a scent even when I press it to my nose. I don't know how the cats are supposed to smell stale cat nip though an inch of cardboard and heavy cloth. I took the bell out since I thought it scared him, but he still won't play with it. Disappointing. My cat doesn't play with this and he usually loves rolling toys around, attacking things, or scratching cardboard.

Smaller than I thought but actually turned out perfect for a 5 month old kitten. They love it, roll around with it and hug it, kicking with their back feet and even carrying it around the house. Especially fun if you spray a bit of liquid catnip on it. Recommended if you can afford it.

This was a very cute concept, but my cats don't get it. I shook it at them (gently), I rubbed catnip on it, I made it roll around in an enticingly frisky fashion, I left it on the floor for them to explore on their own terms, and they all just sat there looking at me like, hey, wha' happened?

Just like the picture...as our cat has not noticed it yet, but I am sure she will in time. This purchase was also made with the thought of getting a kitten from our local shelter to provide a home and companion for our current feline. Thank you for your speedy shipping.

The toy is high quality - about 8 inches long. My kitties though have shown little interest in it. They like the same kind of product attached to a base though, so go figure on their fickleness.
