I wanted it to use it strictly with fruits like pomegranate where a sharp curved hooked point is required to cut just the skin. I have some fabulous quality knives from US (Grany's) and Germany - Zwilling-Henkels that i have been using for more than 50 years now. In that situation it worked just as expected.What I found it even better at was in chopping French beans. With my regular knife the chopped pieces would roll away haphazardly. However with this knife they remained in place. Of course I had to complete the cutting motion by slicing back all the way but it is just a matter of time where I change my style. Except for large fruits aad vegetables like water melon or papaya or cabbage or bhrata egg plant I might prefer this over my other old knives.

Not up tp mark. The sharpness is not ok. Poor value for money.
