First time using loose leaf echinacea tea- love this product. Flavor is wonderful and color is a light gold. I make a big carafe in French press and refrigerate in a quart jar for use over a couple of days. Will definitely buy again. Echinacea root may have stronger medicinal value, but is sold separately and at a premium price. Echinacea is used to boost the immune system and is a common ingredient in medicinal teas available in the supermarket. This package contains 552 servings, with a serving size of 1 tsp (820mg). The entire package is 453g. To see the value, compare this to the contents of grocery store brands (pictured) which offer a total of 24g and 32g per box respectively. The value is significant if you plan to drink this tea daily and it is worth investing in multiple herbs to get a tasty and effective blend of your own. This 1 pound bag fits perfectly into 2 half gallon Mason jars for long term storage and use. I received my package on March 12, 2020 and the Best By date is January 2023. I combined mine with calendula flowers and licorice root for a sweet tasting tea that supports the respiratory system.
