Description for use Announcements for use: 1. Always wear the carrier diagonlly,not hanging from one shoulder. 2. The baby should be seated as deeply as possible inside the carrier. 3. The baby should be positioned at your waist level or higher. 4. Rings should be located between your chest and your shoulder. 5. To tighten the strap, pull in diagonally along the carrier. Stage 1: After threading the cloth through the rings(like a belt buckle, first through both rings and then back between the rings, hold the carrier under the rings with your right hand, making sure that the surplus cloth is in front of the carrier. Stage 2: Put your right arm through the carrier and lift the carrier over your head. At this stage the rings should be positioned as high as possible in the direction of your shoulder. The more padded area (where the label is) should be on your shoulder. Spread out the carrier like a sack, with half of the sack spread across your abdomen. (The carrier can be worn over either shoulder.) Stage 3: The clothe of the carrier should be spread as broadly as possible across your back, for better support and to protect your back. Do not buy! Made with unsafe craft rings not suitable for babywearing!
What a disappointment! The rings are not aluminum, but a cheap, metal craft ring that I'm sure has never been safety tested, especially for babywearing. See if you can get an answer about safety from this company who definitely isn't following even the basic safety laws of the US. (Ask them about the CPSIA and if they have done any testing) The rings are sewn to the sling by a weird x-box job that I've only ever seen on mei tai & soft structured baby carriers. Definitely not a comfy or safe sling shoulder option. The "instructions" are 1 page of small photos of a woman who has the baby already in the carrier, with no details about how to get to that point. If it weren't for YouTube and other baby sling makers who actually give good info, a new babywearer would not be able to use this properly. The photo on the "packaging" is an image stolen from an Australian based company and there are false claims of "award winning" and "as seen in" certain magazines. You get what you pay for, but I would not trust this made in China cheapie to keep my precious baby safe. (Yes, this review is almost word-for-word of my review of another brand of sling. They are duplicates, made in the same Chinese factory)

Weird rings, ok for the price
I bought this to use at the beach (in the water/on the beach itself) for my 6 month old. I have a decent amount of experience with ring slings but didn't want to spend a lot of money for something I wasn't sure I would use a lot. The rings on this sling are super small and are not really sewn in properly for ultimate security/ease of threading. I wasn't bothered by the attached bag like some others were. Mostly, I used this on the beach as a nursing cover because it was fairly light weight and breathable. I did manage to get it threaded once and used it in the water with my daughter. While not the most secure/comfortable sling, I was able to get a deep seat and she stayed in it for a bit while in the water with me. If you think you will really be using a sling at the beach/pool a lot and/or have other kids to chase after I would absolutely spend the $60 or so and buy from a more well known and better made brand. Same suggestion if you are new to slinging as well. If you want something cheap for a few potential uses and are fairly comfortable with RS, this is an ok product.

Use for small dog and its amazing
Purchased for my dog to go on long hikes. It is breathable, adjustable and durable. I get made fun of for having it but its great to have if you have a small older dog that likes to hike or in case of an emergency to carry your dog off the trail. My dog weighs 17 pounds. Being able to adjust the wrap is very useful.

Great sling for the price
Great sling for the price. Gets a little tangled at times so I often had to fix it but I used this for pool days with my 3 month old and even now that she is 11 months.It's lots of fun in and around the pool and dries and packs up quickly.Warning!: Baby may sweetly fall sleep while in sling and you'll be "stuck" cuddling her all afternoon. Oh well 😉

Not a quality product
As an experienced babywearer, I do not love this ring sling. The rings are rough on the inside and the fabric gets caught on it. I'm worried it's going to tear this thin fabric. It's not very comfortable and I don't feel he's completely supported in it. I have used it for short periods and keep one hand on him at all times.

Not bad for the price, but not my favorite
For the price, it is not bad, but the it takes some fidgeting to get the rings in a good position to adjust it. I will say that I'm not a huge fan of RI g slings in general, but this one is much harder to get a good fit than another one that I have. We have only used it a handful of times (baby hated baths, so I would take him in the shower on occasion), but so far it has held up fine.

I love the mesh fabric
My 2 year old LOVES this! He is very clingy but grew out of the Ergo I used to use, it was too confining for him. On my hip he can see and feels more free. I love the mesh fabric, it keeps us from getting too hot, and it does work in the pool. I only gave 4 starts instead of 5 because the fabric can get a little slick. I would be too nervous to use this on an infant without constantly adjusting it.

Great for use in the pool/beach/outside! Breathable and dries quickly. I'm not sure why the re is so much fabric though- I have about 3' of extra hanging
