The Night the Earth Stood Still: The Strange Case of Indrid Cold Paperback – 9 Mar. 2021

Being a WV native, I have traveled to the Clarksburg library to go admire the Barker collection they house. The book is a double treat because is deals with Woodrow Derenbeeger and his experiences with that beloved ultra terrestrial, Indrid Cold. Do i take everything the man who wrote the poem "UFO Is a Bucket of Sh#t" at his word? Nope. But knowing that beforehand, doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the book.As much as I appreciate Andrew Colvin making these books available again, I do have to say, I don't think he needs to interject himself into the narrative as he tends to do. I have bought and read his own books The Mothman Speaks series, and enjoyed them very much. It's just a personal opinion and his addition in no way subtracts from the original subject.If you enjoy the golden era of ufology and offbeat history, then you will want to read this book.
