it is a quick charging great cutting knife

Knife works as expected. Great on turkey and ham.

First off, this thing is big and powerful. It has a long, thick handle and two sets of stainless steel, dishwasher-safe blades - a shorter one and a longer one. I'm not sure why you would need two different *sizes* but I think it's nice they included two different *sets* of blades so you can use one for meat and another for vegetables, for example, and not have to constantly wash the knives to avoid cross-contamination. On top of that, there is a quick release for taking the blades out for when you want to switch blades or wash them. This knife also comes with a safety lock where you have to keep your thumb pushed up on the "unlock" button and then use your pointer finger on the "trigger" to get it to activate. Personally, I think it is a bit silly to have on here because it is still a knife so whether or not it is moving shouldn't make all that much of a difference if someone accidentally grabs the blade or something. Knives are sharp and you should always take care around them, whether or not they're electric. It is also cordless and rechargeable, which in my opinion is the best feature. It takes about an hour and a half to get a full charge and then you can use it for just over an hour before needing to charge it again. You can also use it while it is plugged in if you prefer but I love that I don't have to be tied to an outlet in order to use it, especially when just about all of my outlets in the kitchen are already being used. Lastly, it makes quick work of anything you're cutting. I've never had an electric knife before and I was blown away by how fast it cuts. Oh, I do want to point out that it is pretty loud but I think with something like this which seems like it has a good motor and a lot of power behind it that is to be expected.

Works extremely well. The only issue was I had a tough time removing the blades. Used on two Turkish for Thanksgiving and still had a lot of power left.

I bought them for my kids for Christmas and they were so excited about them.

I have had this knife since December of 2023 and have used it sparingly. That being said it is because its horrible to use and it's even worse trying to remove the blades from the body of the knife. So much so that I am about to throw all of it in the garbage. This knife doesn't cut meat it saws it and the blade removal is unbelievably difficult. Dont buy this knife

Cannot attest to how it works as of yet, but the item quality and presentation was nice. I got this for a gift for my father who likes to cook. he always struggles with finding the perfect knife for large thicker meats and I thought this would work easier and better for him. I like the ease and the comfortability of the handle. It has two blades one for meat and one for larger loaves of bread which is nice. easy to change out and swap. Comes nicely packaged for a gift. Electric so no issues charging or adding batteries. The blades seem sharp and well made. Will report back once it is used, but it looked and feels like a Quality knife. We are excited to use it come the holidays and events when we have those large meals.

I had not used this item too much, but during the holidays this year, I became frustrated and disappointed that it did not cleanly cut my turkey or roast nearly as well as my corded electric knife. I looked forward to having no electric cord to 'fight' with, but I may have well just used a good butcher knife than rely on the Elite Gourmet cordlessd knife.

Do not support this company or product. I have tried endlessly to get a simple return/refund. Neither the manufacturer or Amazon is willing to process this return. It was a gift and is within 30 days. What a scam….. do not trust Amazon!
