worked great under the two recliner sofas. they don't slide backwards when we sit in them anymore.

Read all the reviews on these and many had found the solution I was looking for. They're perfect on my recliner. It was sliding all over my wood floors, so like others I took off the plastic feet, cut two. of these in two down to 1-inch wide and put them on all four corners. Walla--no more recliner slide! Will keep an eye on them to see if they mar my wood floor or leave a residue. If so I'll post updates to this review.

Worked great on my berber carpet but doesn't do much on my new carpet. Chair slides every time I sit in it.

Unfortunately, these pads are NOT non-slip on our LVP flooring. I bought these to go on the bottom of some carpet tiles. We use them to have a "spot" for our 2 dogs to sit when anyone is coming in our front door (so the dogs know to be polite and not bowl them over with excited jumping!) These are nice quality and have good padding, but they don't keep the tiles from slipping, even if it's just me stepping on them. I'm sure I can find another use for them since I waited too long to try them out before my return window closed.

These pads might be useful to prevent chair legs from scratching a wood or tile floor, but they DO NOT WORK in the slightest as a non-skid pad. The photo in the listing shows a black surface that appears to be rubber but it is NOT any type of rubber. The pads are described as being "Ethylene Vinyl Acetate" --- whatever that is. However, the allegedly "non-slip" material is actually a SLIPPERY black FELT & is listed as such on the PACKAGING the pads came in but the word FELT is never mentioned anywhere in the product description. Try sliding a piece of flannel along a tile floor to get an idea of how slippery the felt contact surface is on these pads. It's too much aggravation to return these pads to get the $4.99 back so I will just order the "Amazon Basics RUBBER Furniture Pads, Black, 4x4x3/8", 8 pieces" & move on to a less irritating activity.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Excellent furniture pads. I put them on the bottom of my La-Z-Boy and it does not slide back anymore. They seem to be sticking to the bottom of the chair well. I cut them in half lengthwise to be closer to the width of the wooden "bars" on the bottom of my chair. Easy to put on and they do the job so I'm pleased.
