Works great, I made the insulated cable out of an old micro usb and soldered it togeather. I'm using this with a apm 2.6. After making the cable and installing it, everything else was pretty much straight forward, also if your using this for the same controller as I am or earlier versions, Make sure that you enable the pin via mission Planner advanced settings or it won't read anything. Other than that I'd say this is a great product I would consider buying another for future projects.

Not sure what I was doing wrong but tried to set this up as a motion sensor. The product seems well built and I’m sure works great but I could not seem to figure out how to operate it

Does not work in my application (aircraft altitude sensing) Noise level exceeds readout.

Very expensive, did not come with cable and did not offer cable that I could find.Hard to install and use.

I received this sonar sensor and had it implemented with an Arduino within 10 minutes, and working within specs. The ability to use several different communications protocols made programing simple and versatile, and the resolution and stability of the distance readings is impressive. I am very happy with this purchase, and will likely buy again when I have need for another medium range proximity sensor with fine resolution.

It's a good product, but I wish there were an easy way to reverse the analogue output so a higher voltage indicates a closer object more like the IR sensors.

Works like magic with my APM 2.7 flight controller for providing very accurate altitude info.
