Superb product!
The Belkin ergonomic keyboard that I was using since 1998, finally gave up the ghost. After reading reviews of this keyboard online, someone mentioned they replaced the same model of Belkin keyboard they had with this one. I bought it. Could not be more pleased. The spacing of the keys is almost identical to the old keyboard I had. Transition was smooth to this keyboard. Plus this one is wireless! The Belkin it replaced was a wired PS2 keyboard.

Whoa, no more small keyboard on my laptop

Rechargeable battery
The keyboard is perfect in every way except no warning when the battery needs charging. I have had it 5 months and had to charge it twice. First time was like an hour. This time was in the middle of my work day, so I plug it on, expecting it to work while it charged. It doesn’t! Waited an hour, no action, charging light still red so I gave up. Frustrated.

Rechargeable and split keyboard
Full keyboard (includes number pad to the right side). The arrow keys are separated from the surrounding keys to help with identifying the keys to not look down. I like that I do not have to use batteries. It is rechargeable. I plug it in to the computer. I can use it fully charged wireless or, if it is not charged, use it with the charger. It doesn't take that long to charge. And, it takes a while to lose charge. It also has an on and off switch in the back. The wrist wrest is not removable. But, it is comfortable. I had this item for few months now. I definitely would recommend.

Perfect for the job intended.
What I wanted was to separate my hands and avoid crossover mistakes. This keyboard accomplished this and more. I didn't realize that before, my hands and wrists had to be removed from the keyboard to ease and clear aches by rubbing. Once I started using this keyboard, this discomfort ceased to exist. In addition, I am able, despite this keyboard being much larger, to utilize more of my desk space because I could place it at a greater distance from the edge. That left me without my arms and/or wrists hanging over the edge. I noticed that before, I had to do that because I constantly had to watch from a closer angle just to keep my hands from so frequently hitting the wrong keys. An added benifit of that was no more painful creases under my forearms, wrists and elbows. I got my money's worth with this product.

Infuriating Delays/Disconnections
TLDR; a common defect is that the keyboard stops responding/disconnects and does not function for five or ten seconds. AVOID. You are typing and all of a sudden the letters no longer appear. Way back in the day, this would just mean that you filled the keyboard buffer and, eventually, all your characters would appear. This does not happen. You are typing and the characters just disappear. They do not go anywhere and the keyboard doesn't respond. You can click this mouse around and it works fine, but the keyboard does not function. After screaming at the keyboard for five or ten seconds you get a few random keys you pressed, and it functions again. The problem is that in those five or ten seconds your blood pressure has spiked and you have lost your train of thought. Looking through the rest of the comments, this appears to be a fairly common defect with this keyboard. I am, of course, outside the return window. So this is going to go into the closet as an emergency replacement because I simply can't stand the frustration of losing my keyboard at random multiple times a day. Do yourself a favour and avoid this keyboard.

won't lay flat with or without legs extended
I'm coming from popular MS ergo keyboards and was looking for something similar. The headline is my biggest complaint with this one. It was kind of warped. Had I not found a keyboard I liked better, that also came with a mouse, I may have tried to exchange it for another. I also feel like there could have been something wrong with the semi-colon as it didn't always register. Maybe it was me. I'd give it 4 stars if it weren't for the warp, but another -1 just for that. I did like the feel of the keypresses and the size of the keys on this keyboard. It was quiet enough. You can see the other 3 ergo keyboards that I tested in my picture. This one came in 3rd. MEETION (1st): this one most closely feels like the MS ergo keyboards that I'm used to; comes with a nice ergo mouse; nice and quiet; nice price ProtoArc (2nd place): too laptop-y in key size/shape and keypress feel, for me; spacebar started to squeak sometimes near end of testing; pricey, but sexy X9 (3rd place): didn't lay flat with or without the feet extended; seemed to miss keypresses here and there; pretty good sound and feel of the keypresses Perixx (4th place): it was the most noisy and I didn't like the keypress feel; it was the only one with straight key rows instead of having a slight curve like the others do; I also didn't like the Home/End key group arrangement.
