AnySharpPro Metal Knife Sharpener with Suction, Brass

I have a plethora of knives , and over time they have all got blunt. I have a grinding wheel for work and whet stones but no time to get to grips with sharpening my knives.. axes, etc. I saw this "little" thing and thought i`d take a punt. I wish i had taken a video of one of my sabatier fluted knives struggling to cut a fresh slice of roberts thick bread. It basically cut through using its weight. I spent 15-20 minutes giving my knives an edge. I am seriously impressed with this little thing. Enough now that i have to warn the missus and kids that the sink does have sharps in it when doing the dishes and not to just thrust their hands in the water. My sabat now cuts frozen chicken breasts.. Im going to test a stanley blade on it over the weekend and see if it can improve a dulled blade.. This really is a cracking little sharpener.. I didn't realise how blunt my knifes were until I started using this. You can see the small metal shavings come off. On my very blunt knifes it did take a few reps to get them gliding smoothly through the sharpener. It's the best result I've had from a manual sharpener. Note you must have this on a flat smooth surface or the suck cup doesn't work. If you press to hard it will also dislodge the suck cup. Once you get the hang of it - it's great ! Can do scissors too depending on if they open wide enough.

A really brilliant sharpener, I had thrown my old favourite knife out, for garden use. Not now, brought it in sharpened it with my new gold Anysharp, and razor sharp. Have thrown my previous sharpener away.

They are so easy to use and value for money and really work well sharping your knifes are sharp
