Excellent heat mat love the fact it sticks straight down but the thermostat is useless and doesn’t work perfectly at all

Does not get warm at all didn't work
It's been on for 1 hour now and still not working.And it's stuck on my vivarium now.Don't do as I did. lol.check it working first.

Bought to replace a well known brand heat mat that burned out at 13 months injuring my reptile.Very well made rigid and self adhesive to allach to your heat conductor tile or glass. Very good quality crafted item.

Got two of these kits for my hedgehog enclosure, one for each level.
These are not the usual stiff laminated plastic type heat mats, they are like flexible silicon. I attached to the ceiling of the enclosure using roofing clips rather than using the peel off sticker, DO NOT PUT ON THE FLOOR for small animals like hedgehogs, that way of placing it is for reptiles. The thermostat and heat mat hold the temperature perfectly but I did find you need to set the thermostat 1 degree or so Celsius higher than required as the thermometer readings are lower than what the thermostat thinks it is. Once figured out, there is no problem in keeping the temperature under control and consistent.
