Local stores only have coarse, so I was glad to find Amazon had it. It's just what my tabbouleh needed. I have also used the coarse for walnut and mushroom Kibbeh. Looking forward to using this fine bulgar (which is traditional) instead. The package arrived intact, and I think it tastes very good.

I searched everywhere locally for fine bulgur wheat, but quantities and prices were ridiculous or the product was not even available. Thank goodness for Amazon! Several bulgur wheat types & quantities exist here. I chose Duru FINE Bulgur Wheat because it suited my recipes best & I'm happy with the results, texture, & taste. When I need additional product, this is what I will reorder.

I've ordered this bulgur for Kebbeh. I probably ordered 6 of these. One time it came old and I had to compost it, but the other five times it was fresh.

Having used Duru bulgur in the past when buying locally, I can say that it's a fine product, tasty, even-grained and cooking up well with boiling water for use in tabouli and other dishes. But as other reviewers have also noticed, the packaging isn't adequate to hold up to shipping. It's packed in a cellophane-thin plastic that shreds easily in the stress of packing and shipping; mine arrived blown open at both ends and having lost much of its contents inside the outer box it was shipped in. This isn't hygienic and I don't think the remaining product is usable. Fine to buy if offered at a competitive price, but buyers should expect to check carefully for damage and perhaps to need a replacement order.

This is perfect for any fine bulgur recipes. It's extremely delicious, very healthy and filling. Definitely will buy again.

Good value for the money. I use it exclusively for making tabouleh. Great taste and good quality.

Couldn't use the product because it smelled rancid.
