Really good! It really points out that who we may think is insignificant isn’t in Gods plan.

I've just finished reading this and I am not really sure why but I struggled to get through the book, and I'm quite happy I have finished it!Don't get me wrong the content was good and biblical (of course! It's written by MacArthur) and there were a few parts of the book that encouraged and inspired me, but for some reason I just didn't find it that interesting and if I am honest I actually found it boring most of the time! Which makes me feel bad because it's a book about men and women who were faithful heroes of Christianity.I wouldn't recommend it, but it's not going to hurt if you read it - I think that perhaps I am just too use to reading Chuck Swindoll's wonderful character studies!

Very well written. I have read the first three unlikely heroes and have a better understanding of their character and impact of those around them and relationship with God. Complements the study bible.
