So far so good. I bought this pump to use as a submersible pump in my aquarium sump. It's been up and running for a month now and no issues. I like that they include multiple fittings for flexibility. It also has a wave maker setting that adjust the flow up and down to simulate natural water movement. The only small issue I have is not having a dedicated feed button. You can hold the power button for 3 seconds and it will pause the pump for 10 min but having a dedicated button is nice. If you accidentally shut it off instead of going to feed mode the unit does remember the last setting and comes back on at that setting if you accidentally shut it off. Overall a good unit for the money.

Down grade from my original review below. After testing and looking over the pump, it was clear that the pump had been used before and was not new. So I plugged it in to see if it worked. Not surprised to find that the pump did not work, pumped for 10 seconds at a high rate and then down to almost nothing, even on full power. So carried out a return of the product. After a wait for the pump to be shipped to the UK, opened the box to find the hose connectors missing, pump was brand new and still wrapped up the pump did have a 90 degree inlet end that was not mentioned in the spec. I have no time to wait for a replacement to be sent back and another sent from the states. ordered a 1” hose connector so I can get the replacement pump running in my current sump for the aquarium.

Works well. Great control of water flow with controller. No problem with head pressure. Pump 2.5 meters up into 3 tanks without a issue

Excellent pump. Quiet and good control. Be aware that you will lose some flow rate with tubing, gravity, etc., so if you're looking for a full 800 GPH flow rate you might want to get a bigger model. Especially since you can turn down the flow rate. The pump's control panel is also very useful for fine tuning the system. Worth the extra cost. Only down side is that it allows for water backflow when paused or turned off, so make sure your sump/reservoir can handle the extra water backing in beforehand. Other higher end pumps will prevent this
