The best for museum mounting
I used this tape 40 years ago and was delighted to rediscover it for some new mounting projects. I put full-width hinges on my archival window mounts, and this tape is perfect for that. I have a water well ceramic roller that makes it quick and easy to put on an even wetting to the adhesive for perfect results. I cut and make T-hinges for float mounting photographs so that everything is 100% archival. The self-adhesive may be equally as good, but why switch from an old favorite?

My go to tape for book repair
My kids are hard on their bibles. They take them to 3 church services a week and read them 3-5 other days a week too. They forget and leave them in the car and we're in Texas so the heat is VERY harsh. We have 5 kids and every one of them save the 6yr old has had me repair the binding on at least one bible. The avid readers have had me repair multiple other books as well. Works great! I love that they're maneuverable after application for a little while. Nice adhesive. I believe this is my 5th box. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

tape
Purchased for attaching watercolors to mat board. The tape is self adhesive and it is very thin. I am not used to using this type of self adhesive tape for mounting my paintings. It seems to work well just not a fan of it , yet.

Acid Free Tape That Sticks
This tape is hard to find and expensive. This tape is being offered at a very responsible price. I am very satisfied with this product. I used it to tape up the back of a historical photo and a vintage chromolithograph. I will get a lifetime of use protecting historical paper items from further tearing with this large roll of acid free tape. I will use it for securing prints to acid free mats in framing as well. I have found that the pre-gummed tape does not adhere very well but this tape does.

Worthless
I use gummed linen tape every day at work, ran out before I could order some from my usual vendor so placed the order on Amazon. There is almost no adhesive on this roll, it’s absolutely worthless. I tossed it

Makes sure your artwork stays in position in the frame
We had some artwork which needed framing, so we decided to do it ourselves. We ordered custom frames online but weren't sure how to attach the prints to the backer boards. Watched some videos of this Lineco tape and ordered it. Perfect solution. Was easy to use and did the job. One suggestion is to use a small paint brush to brush some water on the adhesive side of the tape. Use just enough water and wait til the tape is a little sticky before applying to the print. Watch the videos to explain exactly how to make a "T" hanger. To remove the tape, all you have to do is re-wet it.
