Is nice,make a very good work,but when my machine for cut hair arrived,is not good,because arrived brocked.This is a motive because I don't give perfect.

The beautician who was doing my hair for about 20 years has retired. After going to someone else and asking to trim my hair. They would cut over two inches, mind you I have healthy virgin hair and no split ends. So I went on YouTube to see what other women were doing and I found this item. I have been viewing this product for 6 months. After so many good reviews I finally decided to purchase it. I received it and immediately cut my own hair after watching several videos. I must say I am impressed! Best of all my girls don't believe I have done my own hair! This is great for those like me who love long layered hair! I say go for it, buy it and you will be completely satisfied. Oh I saw someone post some where that the clips are flimsy or no good. 1st they are not flimsy at all 2nd if you have a lot of hair the clip can not hold all the hair on one shot, just piece it out, just remember to cut the same amount if your looking to have just a straight and not layered look. I will never ever pay to cut my hair :-)

When you can't make it out for a haircut this can help do a trim to help get you to your next appointment.

In concept this tool sounds great, but in reality its not as effective as the advertising makes it. The clips are not easy to place, the trick is to spread the hair evenly in the clip, and thats no easy task. Once you put the hair in the clip, its not easy to cut using scissors, just imagine holding the scissors in your hands and trying to cut the hair with the clip on, the clip is forced between your fingers and it ends up being very tricky and hard, the opposite to the video advert, I found it easier to cut the hair with an electric trimmer. The clips are hard to use when I'm cutting someone elses hair, but they are impossible and totally unrecomended when used to cut your own hair, especially the big clip, I tried to cut my own hair by flipping my hair to the front as in the video but the result was a mess, I had to get it fixed, and lost a lot of hair in the process. The clips have a balance guide on them, I did not know how to use it as the liquid was not moving. Currently I only use the small clip to cut my daughters bangs, I found the clip helpful in that case.

I'm glad that I found these items as a set so I didn't have to buy each item. The only thing that I wish is that the clippers would have had some form of instructions with it. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to put the guard on the clippers. I can put them on but I don't know if it is right.

The seller and product are just awful. Seller would not even respond when I asked for a return & refund. Don't bother with this product especially if you live in Canada because it will be sent from the US via UPS and UPS charged me an additional $58 dollars (on top of the shipping fee I already paid the seller). The product is cheap, the scissors are dangerously sharp (like a razor blade) and don't even close properly leaving the sharp edges exposed. I found the hair clipper to be very cheaply made and unsafe because the battery is larger than a AA battery and I've never seen a battery that looked like that in my life. It's not a recognizable standard battery and had no labelling on it. The clipper covers do not clip onto the clipper because it was not made for it. Looks to be made for a totally different product. Another reviewer mentioned this and they were totally right. I never write reviews because I can't be bothered but I feel like I need to do a public service and warn people about this product and this seller. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product. It would be better to go on YouTube and find how to cut your own hair videos using various types of ponytails.
