Lodge Cast Iron Baker’s Skillet 10.25 inch

The perfect pan for us dedicated fry-up fanatics. The perfect size, the perfect weight, base is flat as glass for a halogen hob, non-stick out of the box and will fit in any British oven for those who want to season the pan before use and/or after cleaning. It'll outlive you and your Grandchildren absolutely indestructible. For most of us chaps, it's the only pan you'll ever need. Teflon coated 'non-stick' pans are a nasty gimmick, chuck 'em all in the bin and get some proper heavy metal in your life.

Nice Pan, very good quality. Good weight to the pan and comes pre seasoned. I use it for deep pan pizzas with my Ooni pizza oven.

I bought this to use in our Minimax Big Green Egg. It's much lower cost than the Big Green Egg branded version, and given that it's made by Lodge, has a great pedigree. I'm very happy with the results so far. I mainly use it as a high sided searing surface so that I can keep the meat juices for sauces and stocks. The pictures are from cooking pan-seared duck breast and mushrooms using the Lodge pan.

I’m a Lodge fan and have so much of it but didn’t have this as it’s not available in the UK … a week after ordering from Amazon USA it arrived safely and within a short while of its arrival it was baking the most amazing herb & garlic tear&share dinner rolls. They baked perfectly and came straight out of the pan. Ready seasoned and good to go, what can’t you cook in these is a better question that what can you. Almost everything. Invaluable in my kitchen. Have been using it to make pasta and pizza, really good quality pan, sturdy and makes pizza making a lot easier with two handles.

The packing was flimsy, no lodge authentic box ,just wrapped in plastic bag inside an amazon box that was in poor condition when it arrived.

Sturdy, healthy and easy to maintain, if have used cast iron b4.

This is exactly what I wanted. Two handles. Not too heavy. I will use this for everything-roasting, saute, baking, any and all cooking applications. I have a larger Lodge skillet which is excellent but too heavy to lift in/out of oven so I like it better for larger meals/stovetop use. I have an induction range which I love and cast iron works great for this range type or any range type, not too mention cast iron is 100% my preferred cookware for everything, especially roasting.

Low quality and it will loose its seasoning coat very fast. Then, your food will become black, full of this lodge black. DON'T BUY Lodge online, since it may be not a genuine, maybe another duplicated product.
