Q: I’m 140 Pounds what size should I purchase?

I’m 152 lbs and got a medium and had a little bit of room (I am also small chested for reference)

It's a slim fit. I wear a M, and have broad shoulders, and heavier for my 5' frame. This style might not be the best choice.

I got a size bigger because I am big breasted too. Also if I wore a sweater I didn’t want to be tight. I think this jacket is true to size so get what you would normally wear. Mine is a tad big.
