Purchased this product for decor in my aquarium as the cost of natural wood is vastly overpriced. The description cleary states that it is suitable for use in an aquarium or reptile tank etc. The morning after placing these two items in my aquarium, I noticed that the sparkling clear water had turned a cloudy brownish colour, and that the two ornaments had what looked like strands of hairy residue leaching from them and there was a strong smell of resin (something like nail polish). Luckily there were no fish in my aquarium at the time, I am waiting to get it mature enough to start introducing some, as I am sure they would have suffered. These ornaments are clearly not suitable to be used in an aquarium environment. Have had to do a total strip down and clean and started again from scratch. My advice would be to avoid at all costs and to look at a more expensive and clearly suitable artificial ornament for aquarium use.

Dont look real as I thought its not good for what I wanted.

I bought these decorations for my 10 gallon divided betta tank. I really like the way they look, however, they were both full of super sharp parts that had to be filed down on the outside and the inside. Other than that, they seem to be made well, and the paint doesn't seem likely to chip off.EDIT: I ended up having to remove these from my tank after about two months because they were destroying my fish's fins. I think the paint used must be toxic, because not only did their fins get torn up, but they also started curling really bad not long after I added these decorations to my tank. :/

Yes I read the description. But based on the fact that I can cup my hands around the shorter one and completely conceal it, I think the measurements are a bit off.
