Great Quality Genuine Molex - not a Chinese import
This crimping tool is a genuine Molex product which handles a wide variety of pin sizes. I bout it for .062 EconolLatch pins and it works perfectly. The tool has heart shaped openings which bend the crimping surfaces back toward the conductor or insulation. The crimping tool is made in the U.S.A.

Makes beautiful crimps.
This is totally worth the price. Makes beautiful, sturdy crimps. About as good as it gets without getting into the ratcheting crimpers.A helpful technique is to start with a slightly larger crimp size than you think you need, based on wire size. Then, progressively crimp the next size or two down until your crimp is truly secure.

Great crimper for Molex Mini-fit Jr crimp terminals
Crimping tool seems very sturdy. After an initial practice crimp, the next 8 crimps looked great and were secure. Mini-fit Jr crimp terminals were crimped onto 16 AWG and 18 AWG wire. I was able to finish my project. Tool came with instructions that were helpful.

This one works. Iwiss doesn't.
These are far superior to the 20 to 30 dollar range ones. If you want good crimps that hold, then you'll be glad you didn't get the cheaper tools. I tried a cheaper one first and then had to get these because the cheaper one just didn't work. The Molex worked whereas the Iwiss just didn't.I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I bought these and the Engineer PA-21 at the same time to see what works (I was so upset with how bad the Iwiss were that I wanted to try more than one better one). The Molex worked definitely well enough to do the job and do it very sufficiently, but the instructions that come with the Molex are not nearly as helpful as the instructions that come with the Engineer. And The Engineer made slightly cleaner crimps. Where the Molex might be a better choice is that it has a larger size range - especially for larger barrel connectors. The Engineer PA-21 would be my choice over this for smaller connectors, but the PA-21 is only for smaller ones. Also the Molex is larger overall, so get better crunching force on larger connectors.
