Delectable By Cake Beauty Triple Moisture Body Lotion, Vanilla/Cream

Update on 8/13/18: I am going to have to buy more!!!! Its almost gone already!!!This is amazing. It smells wonderful and moisturizes my my skin perfectly! You only have to use a little dab at a time and it's a large size bottle!!! Yay!!! I had used up a 2 oz. Bottle of the coconut and creme from an Ipsy subscription. I loved it, but now that I have tried this one... I love it even more than the coconut and creme. Besides it was a much better buy than the coconut and creme small 2 oz bottle for $12. $12 for 2 oz= NO WAY JOSE!I will definately buy this exact product again and again!

I'm a bit bummed because I got a sample of the Cake Beauty Triple Citrus body cream in my Ipsy bag a few months ago and loved it. I wanted a full size in that scent, but alas, I was unwilling to pay $30 for it with the RIDICULOUS Canadian tariffs. Amazon Prime only had this Vanilla Cream one available, but I decided to go for it anyway.This smells more like vanilla cheesecake than traditional vanilla.It's got a very thick, creamy consistency, but it absorbs quickly and isn't greasy. Hydrates my skin just as well as Bath & Body Works lotions, but without the parabens (huge plus!).Even getting this through Prime and avoiding the absurdly high Canadian tariffs though, I still think it's a bit overpriced for the quality and performance. But if you prefer non-paraben products, like mid-level performance body lotions, and enjoy vanilla/ gourmand/ dessert scents, this is pretty good option for treating yourself.

Love this and will definitely purchase again. The consistency is creamy and soothing; and the scent is delicate and luscious, I would use this lotion's fragrance in shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, soap, a scented candle, or perhaps, even, a slice of cake (giggle).

I don't know about the moisturizing factor. Been on the hunt for a good vanilla lotion. This one starts out ok but the scent is more herbal and ends up sort of musty smelling on me. I returned it

I'm not sure how to check if this product is expired, but I think it is. The initial scent is delicious, but then it turns into a chemical smell and I don't like it at all. The lotion is great, but the scent throws me off too much.

This lotion has a great consistency and keeps you moisturized. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is the smell. When you first put it on, it smells delicious. Once the product is rubbed in, the product smells different. The delicious cake scent is gone and you’re left smelling like cooking oil. It’s not an offensive scent but it’s certainly not vanilla or cake or anything yummy. Kinda disappointed.

This smells delicious! It's like the smell when you scrap out vanilla bean pods. It's a strong vanilla scent with a little bite to it, like a bourbon vanilla pod. There's no cinnamon in this contrary to a previous review. I think people get used to artificial vanilla scent in beauty products and don't recognize real vanilla anymore. This lotion contains real vanilla flower extract. The lotion is a great texture!

Rich, thick and very moisturizing. It smells like frosting, and makes me want to eat it.
