PME Large Rolling Pin Guide Rings

It arrived in a timely manner and is what it was pictured and fits a 2" rolling pin.

Fit my slightly larger than 2" pin. Hard to get on, but I kind of roll it on.

I like the rings it gives my dough an even thickness it’s also a breeze to clean and very easy to use

Largest one has to be used carefully, if you press on your rolling pin much it will fold over

These work well onmy rolling pin and the dough comes out at the right thickness everytime. colors make it easy to pick the right one for the dough thickness I want

These are sold as a "large" rolling pin guide. The only nice thing I can say about them is that they have "pretty" colors. The description of being large indicates that they are 2.5 inches x 2.5 x .2. Doesn't really say inside or outside diameter but it's not true in either case. The inside diameter is 1.5 inches and doesn't really fit most any rolling pin.

They fit my marble rolling pin. Easy to use.

So far I've only used the largest of the rings, but it's just right for rolling out biscuit dough. I like it very much.

I bought a set of these to go with a pin I bought at the same time. Great idea until I found that the pin was 40mm and these are designed solely for a 44mm pin. They aren't really elastic (more like tough silicone rubber) and so were simply too big to use. Before buying, make 100% sure how big your pin really is.

Ho esitato molto prima di acquistare questi anelli perché non ero convinta del fatto che facessero bene il loro lavoro – invece ne sono molto contenta perché fanno il loro piccolo dovere egregiamente.Infatti, si tratta di un prodotto semplice ed innovativo per tutti coloro che, come me, non hanno "nelle mani", il senso dello spessore dell’impasto steso.Uso questi anelli da tempo e vanno benissimo. Hanno mantenuto sia le proprie misure che l’elasticità e la consistenza. Li pulisco con acqua e detersivo liquido per piatti, niente di abrasivo (che non serve neanche perché non vi si attacca niente).Nella confezione si trovano 4 paia di anelli (= totale 8 pezzi), 2 per ogni misura.Ogni misura è indicato da un colore diverso:blu – 1/16 pollici = 1,58 mm (in pratica circa 2 mm)verde – 1/8 pollici = 3,175 mm (3-4 mm)giallo – 1/4 pollici = 6,35 mm (6-7 mm)rosso – 1/2 pollici = 12,7 mm = 1,27 cm (12-13 mm = 1,2-1,3 cm)(NB. Le misure sono indicate sulla confezione e sono fatte per essere “tonde” in pollici (inches) per cui non lo saranno in millimetri, una volta convertite. Visto che i mm indicati sulla confezione non sono precisi, per amore di precisione ho annotato qua, quelli esatti; comunque si può semplicemente arrotondare in eccesso.)Gli anelli vanno infilati sulle due estremità del mattarello, uno ed uno della stessa misura e cioè dello stesso colore. Per “misura” qua si intende lo spessore dell’impasto steso con il mattarello con “addosso” i due anelli.Secondo la descrizione sul retro della confezione, gli anelli vanno bene per mattarelli da circa “1,75 pollici e cioè 44 mm” (= 4,4 cm). In realtà, il diametro interno degli anelli è di 4 cm ma, visto che sono leggermente elastici, si adattano su misure anche maggiori, fino a circa 5 cm. Il mattarello che uso io è di 4 cm di diametro e gli anelli vi calzano perfettamente, non scivolano.Considerando anche che il prezzo di questo prodotto è il migliore sul mercato, nell’ambito “venduto e spedito da Amazon”, non posso che consigliarlo a tutti e a tutte!

These were too big/loose on my 'best' rolling pin, but they fitted my older pin which is one that has handles and it really impacted the size of the piece of dough I was able to roll out. I prefer my wooden sticks in various widths, but they tend to warp when washed. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Such a simple idea, and yet so effective. How did I ever do without this gadget.If you're a bit ham-fisted at getting pastry the correct thickness, and evenly rolled, these thingies are just the job. Just select the thickness you want and you're good to go. Never any ned to do it wrong again.

Fantastic. They fit fabulous on my old wooden rolling pin. Saving me a lot of money in not needing to buy a whole new rolling pin. Looking forward to using them. Delivery service & price was excellent. Thank you.
