Wanted to give as Christmas gifts. But… the cookie dough was dry and too crumbly

Don’t buy! Awful!
I was graving my mother’s date filled cookies. I was hoping these would be good. No flavor at all. So dry one bit was like eating a handful of dried crumbs. The cookie crumbles into tiny pieces immediately. The center filling has no taste. No date taste no nothing. The cookie has zero flavor also. I threw away the entire box. And spit out the one bite I tried. Awful!! Should be taken off the shelf as unsellable!!
