First of all you have to remember that with these very cheap mats you do in a way get what you pay for HOWEVER, I read lots of reviews saying that mats of this price/quality are impossible to clean and would end up being completely stained of ink and of course this made me quite cautious but like anyone who is just beginning to dabble in tattooing you don’t want to spend much money either because you don’t have it or because you don’t know if you’re going to be any good at it so don’t want to throw money at what might become a waste but I was actually very very pleasantly surprised! when you wipe these mats with a tissue you will smudge ink however if you get the tissue very wet and then rub the mats providing the ink is still wet, All the water on the tissue will nearly instantly dilute all the ink on the surface to the point where it becomes such a thin liquid that it can be easily rubbed off. But remember that because you are making the mat so wet that you may rub away the remainder of the stencil so it important to try and complete all the line work first. The only other downside is that because these mats are quite thin the needle is very likely to go through the mat and not only become slightly blunt from hitting the table it may also dent your table however if you put one more mat underneath the one you’re tattooing on this will fix that. overall for the money this product is very valuable and I will definitely be buying again!

Good price ,fast delivery …this item is a gift but appears skin like and decent thickness

Quite good skin for practicing on, however it is slightly thin so when using both sides you can faintly see the tattoos on the reverse side. It takes ink well and is easy to clean with Vaseline. The stencils do stain the skin so make sure to let the stencil dry for a good amount of time before starting(this is the same for other skins I’ve used.) I find that putting a few layers of paper towels under the skin helps to stop vibrations and noise whilst tattooing. Overall good skins for practicing on, I’ve ordered more.

Cheap and actually decent quality for the price, the sheets are quite thin so I recommend putting a cutting mat under them so you don’t damage your needles or table. My only issue is that it’s quite hard to build colour on them, even if I go over the area several times the colour never gets darker than a light grey when using black ink. I have yet to use coloured inks on them but I assume they will be the same. All in i do recommend this product for beginners but you won’t be able to build tones on them.

I have tried a few different types of skin with different price ranges and I would say this comes close to the more expensive range in quality but at a fraction of the price. It’s not as flexible or rubbery but does work much better than the very cheap skins which makes this the best choice for me.

So thin at 1mm only, needle tore through. Transfer would not dry. Ink smear not shiftable. Don't waste your money, we tried 1 and rest will have to go in bin/ be used as a resting mat.

really good quality for practicing tattooing on

Never came out right! Spewing my teeth everywhere wondering why my art looked really really bad! Couldn't get a nice packed bold line for love nor money that's even having to go over multiple times!!! (Never want to do that on real skin!) ....Almost gave the whole thing up on my 5th skin thinking it's one of them things I simply didnt have the nack for... Ended up trying on fruit in the end, Every line came out really good consistent and bold. This is not good skin at all! I only bought cause the reviews where good...not at all the case.

Not what was pictured. Horribly thin and does not absorb properly. Ink goes everywhere if you try to wipe away excess. Waste of money.

Good quality practice skin! Feels pretty convincing and takes ink well! Great for learning! Nice quantity In Each pack of r a good price!

So, this is would be fine skin if it weren’t for how thin it was, in the image provided from seller the skin has a more natural colour and looks way thicker, it doesn’t state in the description how thick it is but anyways, first and second files I attached - shows how thin it is and then third one I attached- shows how it’s supposed to be for actual tattoo practice
