Good for THICKER WIRES and SMALL/THIN STAINED GLASS, LED is a great addition!
This gets nice and hot, but not super quickly. It does stay pretty hot once up to temp (which is what you want for thicker wires or the copper foiling for stained glass). NOT FOR SMALL ELECTRONICS! This gets way too hot and the tip is way too big for fine work, this is for big jobs, which is exactly why I got it (10 and 12 AWG wire -- but remember crimp first, solder after!!!). The big bonus is the LED ring light! It acts both as the "hey I'm plugged in" reminder, and throws enough light around the tip to be really useful as a work light. There is no off switch, if it's plugged in, it's ON and heating! Bear that in mind too.

Worth buy a premium brand
Works well, recommend over a 30 watt especially for soldering 16Awg and heavier wires. No headaches solding

Now Cheap Chinese Junk
Weller used to make a high quality soldering iron when the were manufactured in US, Mexico and Germany . But since they moved production to China, the quality has gone pretty much to zero. Their tips don't last through a single project. I have one that I purchased in 2015 that is still going strong. It's a shame they chose to move production to China, the products are no longer worth buying in my opinion

Me encanta por su lampara y su base para poner el cautin despues de uso. Pude reparar unos audifonos incluso usando su punta que viene por defecto en el cautin la cual es mucho mas grande como para hacer unos pequeños puntos de soldadura. Me recomendaron esta marca por su calidad en lugar y larga duración.
