Fall out of hair easily
Gravity causes all of these "magnetized" rollers to fall out if placed vertically on your head; others placed horizontally were also prone to falling out with much movement (I used metal clips that reached half way across the roller and my hair is very fine). However, even with two clips (one on each end) they would not stay in.

Much better than the hair rollers with bristles that tear your hair out when removing them. Yay
Much more comfortable on the scalp than the rollers with piercing bristles!

Don’t damage your hair as much as Velcro. They are great!

Work well when places properly
These rollers do take a little getting used to but not too much. They feel slippery at first after using the Velcro rollers but once you get the knack they are pretty easy. I suggest you buy pins or clips to hold them in place. I had some already but I do not believe they tell you you need them. Otherwise they will fall right out. Makes sense they are rollers. Haha. Anyhow if you put them in slightly damp hair and let your hair dry while getting ready or use a blow dryer to add a quick burst of heat on them and then let them cool you will find they work quite well. Also you can use some mousse in your hair before applying and maybe a spray of light hold hairspray while they are setting to also help with holding the hair. Just some thoughts. 😉

Wonderful!
I grew up using these rollers. It wasn't until I went to cosmetology school that I really learned how to use them because my mother had a different technique that worked for her. She wrapped each roller in brown paper (from a paper bag) and dry set her hair and used bobby pins to hold the rollers in place after she pressed her natural hair and she would ALWAYS look like she spent a fortune going to the hair salon! I roll my relaxed hair without using the end wraps because my ends are trimmed regularly and won't get caught in the rollers and comes out smooth. I do a wet set and sit under the dryer or dry hair set in between wet sets but when I dry set, I add a little mousse or spray setting lotion on each roller because I wrap my hair in a satin scarf. These rollers leave the hair fuller than the magnetic rollers, especially if you use a mousse or gel after you get the rollers in the hair. They are more comfortable to sleep on than magnetic rollers.
