Small chopper does the job!
Perfect for my small kitchen and occasional baking. Can tuck it into a cabinet for storage. Lightweight and suction cup feet are a bonus. Shredded carrots evenly for carrot cake. Very easy to clean!

Good product
I got this cause it was the least expensive mini chopper with a shreading\slicing blade. It works great. It has a feeder that takes a 21\2 x 1 inch block of cheese n shresds it in bout 5 seconds (for best results put the cheese in the freezer fer 15 min) Best part? no wood pulp in my sauce! Oh n the complaint bout the actuating tab breaking? I can think of several ways to overcome. Thats the problem today. Nobody works with their hands. Throw it out n buy another what a waste fix it damn it!!! That said this is a skookem tool that should last Good purchase

Great small size chopper
Great small size chopper for the counter. I wanted a small 4 cup food processor that I can leave on the counter for daily veggie chops and the occasionally shredding for cheese and potatoes and this fits the bill in size, options and price. The only cons for me are the ridge on the side of canister making it hard to scoop out sauces. The flaps that the other comments mention, you have to make sure the lid is all the way down to ensure it’ll close otherwise they may break. Overall love the processor as a quick daily use item! I have a Ninja blender for my bigger needs.

Over engineered - not good
The first time I used it, it broke. I was grating an onion and parts of the onion were still big. I stopped the machine and tried to open the top to get them out. That is where the problem started.1. There are too many parts.2. The clips that hold the lid to the bowl flop around, are in the way and unnecessary.3. The gasket is too tight (thick) and unnecessary. It makes the lid hard to get off.4. The most important element is a plastic "operation tab". It seats into a slot in the handle. This tab makes the machine operate. The tab broke off when I tried to take the lid off. Thus, I couldn’t figure out why the machine wouldn’t start again. As I mixed my meatloaf ingredients by hand I came across a square piece of plastic. That piece of plastic was the “operation tab”. It broke off the first time I used the machine. It broke off when I tried to remove the lid. It could have been deadly in meatloaf.I have a 30 year old Black and Decker Handy Shortcut mini food grater, slicer, chopper, blender that just gave up the ghost. This is not a good replacement. Please someone! Come up with a compact grater, slicer, chopper that is easy to operate and to clean.

A GEM OF A MINI CHOPPER/BLENDER/GRATER/SLICER
I had been looking for a replacement for my old "mini" chopper when I came across this one. After several years of use my old "twist" style chopper became very difficult to assemble and operate. As I cook for 2, the 4 cup HB mini is perfect.PROS:Very easy to assemble and take apart as everything just "lifts off" no twisting requiredSuper easy to cleanThe chopping blade has two blades in stead of one which allows for a finer 'chop" or blendingThe feed chute is rectangle which makes it easier to fit food into [my old one had a crescent shaped feed chute which made fitting food into near impossible...go figure!]Comes with two blades that chop, blend, grate and/or slice just like its bigger siblingsThis unit is tall but does not take up very much cab or counter spaceThe lid fits snugly if properly lined up; you do have to gently push down on the lid so that the seal engages. A few reviewers have mentioned that a tab on the top located toward the handle end has broken off. I took note of this and so am careful to properly line the spout with the top and the tab with its corresponding slot at the handle. So far I've had no problems.CONSUnless you are using a really small block of cheese, the image shown grating a block of cheese is a little misleading! If you are in need of a small chopper this one is a great choice, for its size, usability [being able to chop, slice and grate] and ease of use and cleaning.

Works great. Sis-in-law abused it-will get another
This worked great for a year using it daily. It didn’t survive a month long visit by my sis-in-law who has a knack for destroying everything she uses. Once she’s gone, we’ll get a new one. Good power but noisy as all have been. My wife likes it better than the others she’s had.

Made it three years
I guess 3 years isn't terrible for a small food processor if it is fairly inexpensive...however this one is fairly expensive for what it is. It is on the complicated side to use with lots of things that have to fit together perfectly and be snapped in place before it will turn on, a safety feature, I'm sure. However it was one of those plastic tabs on the bottom of the container that failed and there is no way to repair it. Additionally, with all those insets/ridges on the inside of the container, it was always difficult to get the chopped product out; chopped onions had to be removed with a spatula as did most things. It did a pretty good job on all functions and did better on shredding than most but it just has too many plastic parts that can easily fail and a poorly designed container on top of it. I do not recommend...look for one with an interior surface as smooth as possible and one with fewer or no small plastic parts that have to be joined to another.
