Daily Academic Vocabulary, Grade 2 Teacher Edition

I really like this vocabulary workbook. It’s simple and straight forward. My son is learning well from it, retaining the information, and is engaged in the lesson. Which is hard to find for him. My only complaint is the price point, but I love the evan moor workbooks so I pay the price!

We do an activity out of this book every day in my class. The students get so excited when they see these words in books or questions. This book has helped my students to understand vocabulary better in all subjects.

We homeschool our children and use these series of books for our children. Two of our kids are dong the second grade books and another one is doing the kindergarden. We live in Virginia where they have to be tested once a year at their level. The lessons are good short lengths for the kids so they do not tire out and so far these books are a great compliment to our homeschooling. We originally started with Montessori method but now we are more close to unschoolers. My wife is the primary teacher for them and she absolutely loves these books. We have three in homeschool and two more waiting until they come of age :) And plan to keep using these books.

The program's short descriptions of each word stand out as one of its best qualities. Because of this, it is simple for my kids to understand the terms' meanings and use them in speaking, writing, and reading. A wide range of entertaining exercises are also included in the program to give my kids the opportunity to practice and solidify their mastery of the vocabulary items. Although the program offers a range of fun tasks to practice vocabulary, some other kids might find the structure to be too predictable or repetitive. To keep kids interested and motivated, it is crucial that parents and teachers provide extra activities and resources to the program.
