Young Coconut Meat in Syrup - 15oz (Pack of 3)

My wife loves this product for fish recipes that she’s made her whole life.

Good product

Young coconut should be very soft and tender. The coconut is a bit tough.

The coconut meat is slightly hard

I don’t know what happen and what’s wrong but when I open the canned, the coconut meat is kinda harden and the syrup that’s contain something that keep the coconut meat good or so make the coconut meat smell like raw meat or something bad smell similar like that. And so the bad smell affecting the coconuts meat meat which make me yuck when my face with my nose come close to it. Avoid buying this online. I don’t know if it just for online so i recommend buying this in-store at your local Asian market for better quality and smell. That’s all I can say for my own experience and opinion.

Coconut was not young. It was hard!

This item/s used to be just a dollar each a couple of years ago, but inflation is getting prohibitive on food prices. Having said that, comparatively and accessibility-wise, the prices here on Amazon are still quite reasonable, so I'm still glad I bought them.
