Just grainy enough to feel like you’re exfoliating and not rubbing sand on your face. Smells great.

Deep cleans shaved head and face

Got this for my man because his previous product broke him out terribly. I'm not going to lie, I use this product myself occasionally as well when my face is feeling particularly gross and like I'm caked with sweat and oil. I also use a silicone exfoliating brush though, which isn't necessary but nice. My man uses it once or twice a week. The product: ●Smells nice ●Leaves the skin feeling clean but not stripped ●Doesn't dry out skin, I personally don't find myself needing moisturizer or anything after use ●A little goes a decent way, dime size is pretty decent ●The exfoliating properties in the product won't stick in your beard, it washes out just fine, so you can use it in your beard hair too. ●My man noticed less sebum production which helped his acne and ingrown beard hairs. Great for the price, does exactly what I hoped it would.

Works great. Smells great. It's perfect and I'm sticking with it. The smell isn't overpowering. I would compare it to the strength of Irish Spring, where you need to be really close to smell it after washing. But it smells great too, like a light refreshing men's aftershave. The granules in it work as expected. They're really fine so if you have sensitive skin maybe go easy on the scrubbing or consider something else. But definitely gets rid of any dead skin, cleans the beard well, foams just enough, and you use a really small amount each time so it will last. I use it every other day because my skin under the beard needs it. It strips the beard of surface oils. I recommend following up with a beard oil or something afterward. Pro Tip: If you brush/listerine after, make sure you don't spit it out on your chin. It's gonna feel like you put Vicks there and stood in front of a fan, freezing/tingling.
