Not to be used for capacity more than 100 ltr to be safe.

Is it suitable for 2.5×1.5×1.5 ft tank?

Yes. It will work. I have a 2'x1.5'x1.5' tank with 8-small guppies. Water change once in 2-weeks. Performance is fine.
