I usually read FBI/suspense Mary Stone. This book was good. I thought the characters were well crafted, and I loom forward to reading the next one.

Wow! I am left on a cliff hanger... Downloading the second book now! I NEED to see what happened. Like an itch I need to scratch.

So sad to think that this could happen at any time. I do wish that the story would have been all in one book, but now that I’m invested in the story I have to get the next book.

Trying to get the rest of the series but this is a great start I love it and can’t wait to buy more

This was fascinating enough for me to finish it and be hooked in the suspense. However, I do not feel the need to get the rest of the books that follow the story because I feel it is not interesting enough to continue. I am satisfied with this book as it is and really enjoyed the plot twist.

I read this book way back in high school. It was very nostalgic picking it up again this morning. I read it today in 1 sitting. I remember it being a series back then....not sure if I read the rest of the books in the series though. So, I’m excited to read through the entire series now. :)

I read this as a teen and wanted to re- read. It’s as good as I remember. It’s just an interesting story.

heute hapert es ja leider oft an der Lesepraxis. So sind Schüler meist unendlich frustriert und haben - zu Unrecht- den Eindruck, sie könnten nichts. Das lässt sich mit dieser leicht zu lesenden und im Anfang recht spannenden Serie.Jeanie, ein sehr phantasiebegabtes amerikanisches Mädchen stellt in der Schulkantine mit einem Blick auf eine Milchtüte fest, dass man sie offenbar als Kleinkind gekidnapped hat. Sie kann das gar nicht glauben und kämpft mit der Realität der Bilder verschwundener Kinder auf Milchtüten. Im Ende findet sie die erschütternde Wahrheit ihres eigenen Lebens heraus. Und stellt sich mutig den Konsequenzen.Ich kann dieses Buch nur sehr Eltern ans Herz legen, die gerne etwas mehr für den Sprachschatz und gegen den Englischfrust ihrer Kinder tun möchten.
