There isn’t a magnet in the kit. I thought I was ordering a magnet fishing kit. A kit should be complete.

I used this hook several times over the past weekend. I'm a fairly large and what most consider powerful man. 6ft tall 350+lbs I got this hook caught on a few items and pulled with everything I had only to feel the item flip over. After a full 3hrs of off and on use the hook still looks new. The rope is more than enough for any load a person could handle by hand.The only thing I think would help is if the hook had a little more weight to it so it would sink faster or a lighter rope. Once the rope is wet the hook falls to the bottom quickly like you would expect but if the rope is try it takes a bit to sink.All in all the hook seems sturdy enough to withstand nearly anything you are going to throw at it during a magnet fishing trip.The thread locker is a nice add on but not needed with this kit.The gloves hold up well but if used hard for a few trips they will likely need replaced. But the hook, rope, carabiner, & tape make up for the cost of the kit alone. So the gloves, thread locker, & rope organizer are like freebies.

Everything you need to magnet fish is included except the MAGNET! A Christmas gift for my visiting grandson and the magnet wasn't included.

We were looking for a new rope for our 1500 lb pull magnet. We wanted a strong 100ft rope. We were surprised at how expensive they seemed to be. Then, we came upon this accessory kit, and it has a 100 footer, plus a grappling hook and gloves, all for less than the ropes we were looking at. We’re very impressed with the quality. Highly recommend.
