Beautiful dress! I bought the dress for a Catrina (sugar skull) costume for Halloween. The dress fits perfect and the cinched waist is really nice. I am 5”6” and 125 lbs and the small fits perfectly. It is long and I will need to wear with a small heel. The material is high quality and not the usual polyester mess you find with most costumes. It is almost a satin type of material with a pretty sheen. The material is also comfortable and although the skirt portion has a lot of material, it doesn’t feel heavy. I would highly recommend

Wore this, as is, for a cinco de mayo party. I cannot believe how this made me look. I'm not skinny by any stretch of the imagination. However, this dress took off 15 lbs. People would not stop complimenting me. They would then see me again, and proclaim again, "I just can't believe how good you look in that." I felt beautiful. People who had not seen me in a while, kept asking if I had lost weight. Hahaha. The breast area actually fit me. I have larger breast and it is difficult to find dresses that fit that area. But this did. It was a little long because I am short. Heels helped, but still swept the floor and I did have to keep lifting the dress to walk and dance. But I loved how it flowed. I want one in every color now. Forget parties. I just want to wear them for every day. And it was so comfortable. When I saw and felt the material, I did not think it would be comfortable, but by heavens, I could move and not worry if my belly was sticking out or if I could raise my arms. Usually, I just sit these parties because of discomfort, but not with this. This dress truly made this party one of the best I have ever been to all because I could relax and not worry about my outfit. This has made it into my closet as my favorite dress. This silly little thing. Oh, and even though I kept stepping on it, it didn't rip. So as far as I can tell, it is well made. Want to buy more.

I love the fit of the dress a lot! I’m a size M, about 5’3 + 135lbs. I’m also curvy, with a large bust. The dress hugged my curves and gave me just enough support. It was about 65°F and mild weathered, so while it was on the warmer side, the fabric was breathable. It was thicker than the dress I wore last ren fest — it’s about as thick as a linen cloth, so consider the weather in your area, and do with that what you will. I was neither too warm nor cold. Since I’m 5’3, the dress was a little long on me, so I had to hold it in my hand to avoid having it drag through the wet ground. I’ve also seen a few other people wear the same dress too lol, same color and everything. I rated this a 4/5 stars because I ordered the deep green, yet in person, the dress color was more blue, closer to teal (see unedited photos). I was expecting something more emerald. Thankfully, the color did still look good, but the point stands. Additionally, the dress is prone to wrinkles (once more, see the sleeves in the unedited photos).

I like this dress. Its comfy, very stretchy, light enough to not be a suffocating layer but has enough weight to it to hang and twirl nicely. The beige colored one is a bit sheer - but not horribly so. You can see my friends snack bag if you lay it under one layer and stretch it tight, but the dress isnt usually stretched tight enough for it to be a problem. The ties on the neck/bust area are not stretchy and do not change anything - they are purely aesthetic. You can NOT cinch the neckline tighter with them. I ordered mine for a ren-faire style outfit. I paired it with a vest and skirt set both from Scarlet Darkness, and I think it looked good all together (will look even better with some wrinkle releaser lmao). All in all, I would recommend this dress, and would buy again if I needed to do so. I ordered a 2XL but could have EASILY ordered an XL and been just as well off. I am 5'5", I currently weigh in these photos 192.6 lbs. I wear a 38C bra size (on average), and carry a lot of my weight in my lower half, usually wearing a size 22-24 in jeans, and a size 16-18 in dresses. This dress fit extremely well, didnt cling anywhere uncomfortable, the arm holes were great and roomy (not loose or baggy, but not tight in any way). I usually size up in everything to err on the side of caution (you know how it is). But an XL would be a great fit here for me as well. The dress just brushed to top of my feet, and was comfortable everywhere else. If you are shorter that 5'5 you may need to hem this (either with stitching or with iron on hemming patches).

Greet cottony feel material of the perfect thickness and color+ style as depicted and not see-through. I am ‘5’4 at 110 pounds, B36, and it fits perfectly with size small. The length comes right to the top of my feet. It is quality made with each layer of skirt perfectly roached-gathered with a rubber band type stretch. I can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful dress!

I loved this. I was surprised by how good this was! It fit me really well (I am 5’11” 220 and got a L). The quality is great! Very impressed. The fabric isn’t super thick, and it’s very breathable. I liked that a lot since I get hot easily. It’s super easy to get on and off. Just slip it on. It’s a bang for your buck for sure.

I bought this for a renaissance fair and it was perfect. I paired it with a corset and it gave me the perfect outfit. This style is not my typical clothing that I would choose, but for what I bought it for, it was really perfect. I was also impressed with the fabric- it was very lightweight and breathable, being in Florida weather that was very important. I am 5'2" 119lbs. I bought an XS and the fit was PERFECT. It also has a lot of stretch to it, so if you typically hover between two sizes I would recommend going with the smaller size

Look, I’m going to hop right to it and get to my personal thoughts after. This dress is of AMAZING quality, with decently thick material (though not too thick, so as to make it too warm to wear in warmer weather) that looks good even when wrinkled due to the design of the dress. Because this is a full-length gown and the material is still good enough quality that it has a little weight to it, I’ve been able to wear just this on days that I might usually have to wear pants and long sleeves/a sweatshirt. The material is completely opaque with absolutely zero transparency. The color of this dress — as well as the one my boyfriend ordered for me after seeing me in it (black) — match the picture perfectly (at least based on how the pictures look on my phone’s screen), and this darker red/maroon/burgundy color is SO so rich!! And let’s talk performance for a second: the TWIRL! You just have to trust me on that one; give it a go once you receive yours. Thank me after!! Now for the more personal tidbits about fit, delivery/packaging, etc.: The dress came on time, and it actually came pretty early in the delivery window as well (both times). Both times the dress arrived and yes, they were wrinkled, however like I said it doesn’t really look that bad/isn’t that noticeable thanks to the design & construction of the dress. Other than that the packaging was incredibly professional and I couldn’t find a single flaw in packaging, delivery, nor the item itself. After I opened up that first one, I slipped it on and my boyfriend loved it on me so much that he himself ordered an additional one in black! This dress just fits so, SO well — it’s fitted in the waist, roomy in the chest, and so free in the skirt that a twirl makes it FLARE out! The design/construction of this gown flatters, compliments, and ACCENTUATES the figure. It truly is a must-have staple in every closet, regardless of style!! EDITED ON 12/13/2024: I’m super sad to have to update this review with a removal of stars 🥺😭 A few months ago, this dress became completely unwearable as the elastic in the right side of the collar had… Lost its stretch? Came apart? I guess I’m not sure what happened, I’m not well versed in the construction of garments, but the sleeve on that side lost definition at the top especially and resulted in the top of the dress fully drooping, especially on that right side. It would expose me if I were to try to wear it, so I’ve scrapped it in a fabric drawer for repurposing sometime. I am debating ordering another one since the black one is still okay, fully hoping that maybe this one was just a one-off faulty product. I haven’t decided if I will or not, when to be fully honest, at one point I wanted one in every color. I will update this again if ever need be!
