it works. its way off, once mounted it is far offset to one side, therefor the optics need to be offset to counter. Bugs me that the rail in no way lines up with the mount dovetail. It work, if that is your only desire then this will do. If this was for an actual handgun I would return it, this is for my break-barrel pistol for taking care of squirrels in garden, so the slop is bearable.If you intend to show you firearm to anyone and don't want shame of a sloppy offset accessory, purchase another.

Nice mount, I had to modify it intensely to use on my application. Not sure if the dovetail base on the Mosin Nagant is to spec or not. Construction and materials are of top dollar for the price. I imagine if this were placed on a standard American made rifle with a dovetail base, it would fit perfectly.

I bought 2 of these to put a long Picitiney rail on a Crossman Marauder pistol and they worked well. I wanted 1 facing each way and they still aligned perfectly. These are a great value price point product. You can easily tell they are not made by Burris or Leupold but are solid.

Mount my optice on my Winchester 270/22

I like this product. The fit and finish is very good. I have not installed it yet on my rifle. I don't need it at this time. Keeping it for stand by.

Nice adapter. I used this on an old .22 rifle so I could add a modern scope to it. It works great and went right on the rifle with no problem.

After I installed it on my mosan I expeted,because of revues,i expeded my scope to leave 0 but I havent had that problem,Works great.

Remove the rear sight assembly on your mosin and you can install this dovetail to weaver base converter. This product will allow you to mount a long eye relief scope or red dot to your mosin without modifying the bolt. Works great.
