broken base replaced immediately...
It's true that these lights do not glow the warm yellow apparent in the photos online. But after 1 month they do work well and consistently.Most notable, one of the lights arrived with a broken base. I let them know and they were very responsive to replace the light with new ones.Great customer service!!!

great lighting effect
works great when it gets a lot of sunlight charge time. does cut a little short when it gets darker earlier (winter). get lots of comments from neighbors and other passer byers.

Solar Post Lighting
The images in the product description in regards the lighting is misleading. They do not put of a soft warm glow as the images depict. It looks like they used a filter to give the solar post lights a warmer glow.Other than that, are fairly bright and look great, plus they are easy to install.

not quite right
The looks and light are very good. They are bright enough to illuminate, but not disrupting view. However, the size of the lights bottom, as well as the braces accompanying them; DO NOT fit a 4x4 post. There is 1/2 inch gap between post and edge of base. The base slides over the post and must be drilled in to hold (which defeats the entire purpose of the base. I will attach the light directly to the post with screws meant for the base. Don't know what to do about the gaps which will certainly make a home for a wasp nest, or other creature.

False advertising
These do not have that bright, warm, yellow orange color shown in the photos. It is bright white. I did not want bright white. Thanks for wasting my time.

Very cheaply made, one was bad.
I bought 8 lights... one was lit up all the time even in the sun light and one had bad (milky) reflector surface in the bottom. Thankfully I only needed 6 for my project. The bad one I took apart (It is in the picture) to see if there was something obvious, and the wires coming from solar panel were wrong colors. Red was "-" and blue was "+" so it was an easy fix. The bottom line is: These lights do not seem to be water/moisture proof at all: Gaps around top cover and no seals. They are made from very cheap plastic which probably will turn brittle in 2-3 years, and their quality control does not do the job. Also, as was mentioned by others - they do not fit 4x4. Largest base leaves 1/2" gap on all sides. Routing top of the post and using smaller base is some sort of workaround.
