The writer's credibility is beyond doubt. The plot itself, is very captivating though so many books have been written on Hitler and his survival rumours. However, was disappointed with the LOW QUALITY PRINT and BINDING which has already come off at 2 places in just one read.

I first read this book 25 years ago when it was a "Reader's Digest Condensed Book". It was as exciting then as now. I really enjoy the fast pace, detailed storyline and interesting characters. I have re-read it often and now have it on Kindle for portability.

I absolutely loved reading "The Hitler Deception" by David R. Yale. This thrilling novel had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The premise of the story is intriguing, as Emily Ashcroft and her father, Sir Harrison Ashcroft, attempt to write a definitive biography of Adolf Hitler, only to uncover a cryptic letter that leads Sir Harrison on a dangerous quest to excavate the Führerbunker. The characters are well-developed and complex, particularly Sir Harrison who is driven by his passion for history and his determination to uncover the truth. The historical elements of the story are meticulously researched, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the novel. The plot of "The Hitler Deception" is full of unexpected twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. The idea that Hitler may not have died in the Führerbunker is a fascinating one, and the author does a fantastic job of exploring this possibility while also maintaining a sense of historical accuracy. Overall, "The Hitler Deception" is an exceptionally well-written and thought-provoking novel. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves historical fiction, thrillers, or just a great story in general. It's a definite 5-star read in my book!

I was fascinated by the subject, but found that the story was written similar to the style found in a paint by numbers painting. Everything fit together, characters were introduced into the story and within a line or two the reader knew if he/she wore a black or white hat. Just too simple, too much formula and not enough suspense or human unpredictability for me. A decent story, but written at almost a juvenile reading level.

For various reasons four people band together to try and prove if Hitler and Eva Braun did die or survived at the finish of WW2. A not very realistic plot.
