If you never use sponge floss before, you gotta give these a try, I'd recommend the mint one, the vanilla mint seems a little thicker and hard to get through teeth gaps. Unlike string floss, they don't break or get cut by teeth grooves easily, so you'd only need a little each time. The container is paper so it'll just dissolve, just don't get them wet, they fall apart quick. These are much better than those other string floss brands, cheap too.

I bought this floss in hopes of avoiding the PFAS that exists in standard dental floss, and any microplastics that come from using polyester-based floss. This stuff works great!!Now, I dunno if it's a deal breaker, but you definitely notice the lack of slipperiness compared that of standard floss. But even between my tighter teeth, it still fits! And even better, it feels like it's REALLY scrubbing the gunk out BECAUSE it's not so slippery. Standard floss doesn't give this satisfying scrub sensation.And yeah, the floss will snap a little easier, especially if you keep using the same spot of the floss between all your teeth. I just make sure to switch spots once or twice as I floss.I'm so glad I found this stuff!

I use this now to replace Glide floss. It is the thinnest out of all the non-petroleum-based flosses, but it is somewhat weaker. It is plenty strong when you use the technique of gently going side-to-side (no tension on the floss) between teeth pinch points. After you're past the pinch point, you can apply more pressure to the sides of teeth by increasing the tension of the floss and you're fine. There is enough friction between the pinch points to remove plaque there using this method and avoids breaking floss. BPA, PFAS, etc. today--more acronyms tomorrow for what's considered safe now (polyester, nylon, etc.). Also, it stands to reason that the gum tissue between teeth is very sensitive and highly absorbant, so any chemicals will be readily absorbed into the body. Add repeated long-term exposure and the fact that flossing can make your gums bleed (chemicals possibly being directly routed into the bloodstream), this floss makes the most sense. They do need to work on their quality control, as some batches appear to be weaker than others. Maybe someone will develop spider silk floss soon.

First time getting this product and I'm impressed with the great quality. Love the floss texture and flavour.
