Plastic coating on the jaws did not stick and left metal with sharp edges form the stamping. Sharp edges need to be smoothed with either a file or sandpaper before using. Could cause serious injury to snake.

Used this tool for the first time last week. A 4 foot moccasin camped out right against the front door. He was easily removed and relocated.

Finally got to use it and it worked perfectly. Caught a 2.5 ft copperhead and was able to pick it right up and carry it out of the building with no issues. Definitely recommend

The edges on the handle and many places are razor sharp , not safe to use especially if you are nervous about catching a snake which is why you wOukd buy these. The maker knows they are sharp because they put tape along the edges that are sharp. Thanks for the warning. but why not buff off the edges and avoid hurting someone.
