A favorite among Timber Hawk field testers, the Rut Buster is an ideal mid-sized daypack for archery or rifle season. It’s got enough cargo room for all your hunting essentials, from food and ammo to those extra layers you peel off as the day warms. It also holds a bow for hands-free hiking and stalking. Loaded with many of the same features that made the Kill Shot so popular for multi-day trips, the two large main compartments are lined with ultra-quiet twill for durability and stealth in the field. A convenient padded front stash pocket allows quick access to small items, while the padded waist belt offers zippered mesh pocket on each side. The innovative Hawkeye bino strap system attaches to the pack’s shoulder straps, where it keeps binoculars in reach for effortless glassing, or detaches to allow separate use. A heavy-duty top-haul handle makes the pack a breeze to toss in your truck. High-density breathable foam pads the back and shoulders for outstanding comfort in the field, and the waist belt tucks away for storage or when packing light loads. All the zippers feature large-loop pulls for easy use with gloved hands. The Rut Buster is hydration compatible, but the reservoir is sold separately. Two side pouches with cinch closures hold additional water bottles. Dimensions – 11.8 x 19.9 x 6.3 inches (WxHxD) Storage Capacity (Volume) – 28.1 liters (1713.5 cubic inches) Weight – 3.24 pounds This product is backed by a manufacturer's lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (applies when product has been used for the purpose intended and under normal conditions). Awesome pack
I am notoriously hard on backpacks. I use them for everything. Hunting, travel, hiking, and everyday use. I don’t like having multiple packs and was looking for one pack to do it all and this is certainly it. Comfortable. Durable material. I love it. And with the chest and waist straps I can carry a pretty heavy load and not even feel it. I will have this pack for a long long time. Excellent product and worth every penny.

Great price. Great pack
Great price. Great pack. Only wore it once for the turkey hunt. Instead of everything in one place, there are enough pockets to organize everything, and comfortable to wear

Doesn’t hold a bow
I returned this item because it does not hold a bow like the manufacturer claims. I tried several different ways and was never comfortable with how sturdy it was. For a basic backpack at an affordable price it would be fine.

Gonna Be Good
I bought this pack earlier this week. Haven't actually used it yet but I just know it's going to be great. Raccoons ate a hole in my prior pack and after considerable brain numbing research, I settled on rut buster. Just loaded it with all my hunting gear; pillow cases, ground plastic, knife, saw, zip locks, shells, bug screen, GPS, breathing mask, latex gloves, spare batteries, lens cleaner, range finder, 1st aid kit, rope and some other minor stuff. Plenty of room for water and the kitchen sink! Very comfortable as I have it loaded. Nice having enough pockets to sort gear properly. Will give a formal outing next Tuesday. Look out blacktail bucks, here I come!
