Good bit of kit for the money - especially if want something battery operated. Took a star off because the screen is not A4 - it is too short and too wide to for A4 paper. I've taped sticky notes to the side where the light is not covered by my paper. This helps to diffuse the light and shield my eyes. Can't comment on the sturdiness or how long batteries will last as I haven't had it long enough yet. It is a hard plastic, so don't know how it will fare if dropped on a hard surface.

Bought for my7 year old who loves drawing and is always asking me to draw images from my magazines for her to colour. It’s a very simple lightbox.Arrived quickly and well packaged. Price is ok, originally saw a few £ cheaper and that would’ve made more sense but really wanted it, prices fluctuate so much at Christmas! It wasn’t the box as in the advertised images- I chose this one as it showed a fashion theme. The tracing sheets inside are fairy & unicorn. I did note from an earlier comment to go online to crayola.com and you can download others and there I found loads more : catwalk, rockstar, animals, faces etc so made a pack to add this. Given 4 stars as seems like a good product but only used a few times since Xmas so shall have to measure durability and how useful it really is.

The product itself was as described, but the address label was stuck onto the box itself, obscuring some of the pictures and detail. Since this is a gift, I have had to carefully remove the label, which took a lot of time. Crayola offer a range of images to download and print off, but these were slightly out of alignment with my printer, and so some were "cut off". The "tracing" paper supplied seems exactly the same as A4 printer paper, so it is not worth buying extra supplies of it. For all that, the light box works well and the possibilities are endless. Maybe more suitable for the upper age range of 5 - 15.

This was bought for my little girl for Christmas. When she came to use it we were unable to open the battery box as the left screw keeps spinning. We now have a very sad child as this was the one present she had asked for. We should not have to open items to check that they work…NOT HAPPY.I would upload a video but it’s not nice to see and hear a 4 year old crying in the background due to a poorly made item.It is being sent back for a refund 😡

I’ve purchased this for my four year old for Christmas. I’ve taken it out the box, out battries and tested it.It is securely packaged and the screen was protected. It includes some lovely images that can be traced, a pencil and a pack of half sized crayola pencil crayons.It’s very easy to use, on or off. The brightness is spot on for a decent weight of paper (and some paper is also included) and not so bright it hurts the eyes.The colours are child friendly and if treated with care looks like it would last a while. Not for toddlers as I imagine being dropped or trodden on would cause damage.
