Highly recommended!!
A wonderful book of how to build and run a business with integrity and how putting the customers first builds a lasting relationship. Once again the golden rule is shown to be the foundation of a great company! Congratulations to the Cathy family for building something beautiful!

The Chick-fil-A Story
First, I must confess that I am not a businessman, nor have I ever had the kind of entrepreneurial drive that businesspeople need to succeed. I’m an academic, so my interests lie elsewhere. Still, I found this book informative. This book is focused on branding, so it covers a lot about how Chick-fil-A developed its brand. I learned a good deal about how Chick-fil-A grew, and how Chick-fil-A went about creating a unique place for itself in the business world. I also learned about the values that undergird everything Chick-fil-A does.I think this book will appeal to two different audiences: businesspeople who want to learn more about how to grow and develop their business’ brand, and those who want to know the Chick-fil-A story.

Very good book
It's rare that I read any book in one or two sittings but did this one. This book chronicles Robinson's career at Chick-fil-A and provides some insight into the development of the company's brand. It's not a how to by any means or a road map but meanders through some signature developments at the company during Robinson's career there. There are many takeaways in the book but not really organized in a systematic way. It's a good, easy, and enjoyable read with plenty of points of application to business or building an iconic brand. The messages could be applied to any size business.

business Smarts
this is a delightful read that not only gives insight into Chick-fil-A's beginnings but also gives helpful insights into how to run any business. It's all about the people involved and how they are treated; from employees to customers. Well worth reading & enjoying the journey.

Sometimes success is disguised in hard work.
I am currently going through the interview process to hopefully one day become a chick-Fil-A operator. In my preparation I have done many things including reading everything I could get my hands on regarding the brand and culture of Chick-fil-A. In this particular book Mr. Robinson’s sincere admiration for Truett Cathy and his pride for what he accomplished during his career with Chick-fil-A is obvious. Amazing read with a great message about how business should be done.
