EXCELENT ITEM! AAAAAA++++

I purchased this little kettle earlier this month. It was purchased to be another kitchen utensil option for the little MyMini appliance I already have for my meals & snacks. I use it to boil water in it for tea, coffee, or even hot soupy broth. Works exactly as expected. Most important of all, it's base fits a bit smaller than the MyMini's hot plate base. Making it very stable & safe during use.Highly Recommended!

I didn't expect the lid to be connected with a hinge but after that surprise I was quite pleased with it. It heats relatively fast, keeps the water hot for a while and doesn't leak when pouring.Obviously a pot holder is required to lift the lid if necessary and to remove it from the burner and for pouring. I wonder about rust but have been putting in the dish rack upside down so it drys out completely between uses and I've now used it every day for a week.Will definitely update should rust occur.

Too small for conduction stove use

If you are looking for a small size, stainless, cute teapot, this one does fit the bill. I took out one star because it does not have an inside metal filter, which some teapots have -- it would have been a nice addition.

The Wife wanted something to boil water for a single cup of tea. I showed her some of the larger Tea Pots but she insisted on something small. WI found and ordered this and she was very happy with it when it arrived. Happy Wife, happy life!

I wasn't expecting to be so small but this product is very cute and seems to be well made and good quality, so I'm keeping it!

As a personal teapot goes this is a fine option. I get about three 6-7 oz. cups from two tea bags. Wielding it, owing to the uninsulated ribbon of metal handle, can be a bit challenging. I've dealt successfully with this issue but it could be problematic for the frail hand ergo 4 stars.
