I've used this from a large ballroom to a small social quarters. From a Halloween party to new years and birthday parties. Make sure you get the correct remote "FC-T" some are getting packed with the old style that is not compatible

No doubt the best fog machine . I wans nevourse because I wanted to use it for a large annex space, and it worked perfectly. Also the consistency and speed control were spectacular.

I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years and my lighting plays a big part in my show. I’ve used oil based fog machines which leave a residue and set off fire alarms. I’ve been using water based haze for the last 10 years and my Chauvet arena hazer finally bit the dust. I was hesitant about buying the Hurricane 4D because of the mixed reviews. After buying it and running some tests I found that you have to manually set the fan speed if you are using the wired remote. Also I found it works great if you don’t ask too much of it. I found that I can put it on continuous at roughly 20% volume and it fills and keeps the room full of haze. The haze is equivalent to a smokey bar. It allows your lights to project a cool looking beam for added effects. This hazer is about 1/4 the size of my Arena hazer but puts out about the same amount of haze. I found if you try for too much volume the heater can’t keep up and it spits and wastes haze fluid. But there is no reason for that to happen if you run it as I mentioned above. All in all I think it produces all the haze you will ever need just don’t push the hazer past it limits.

This machine is a beast for the price. I use it mostly on film sets, but occasionally for stage. It takes a bit to warm up, but will fill a room no problem.

I've been pretty happy with this haze machine so far. I've used it in numerous small-medium venues and it has worked really well. Once you see your stage lights in a hazed environment there is no going back... it looks pretty amazing! I was a little concerned about purchasing after reading how the fan doesn't kick in until several seconds after the haze is emitted... but for me it hasn't been a problem... just a dramatic puff of haze here and there when I'm running it with the interval timer.

So far very happy with this purchase. I have it daisy chained via DMX with 10 YeeSite lights and it works great. Produces an amazing amount of haze for its size.

Horrible Hazer. Purchased two and both of these do the same thing. They put out a little bit of haze for a couple seconds then start to spit haze fluid out. Apparently the heater doesn’t get hot enough so this wastes fluid and can’t even fill a small room with haze. On top of that, it leaves a puddle of haze on whatever surface it’s on. Horrible waste of $380!!! Watch the video and see.

1500 plus venues was no challenge for this machine.

The machine stop working and it keeps turning off. I tried few time to contact the seller which never reply back to me. Be aware that if something happen you will have zero customer service from this seller.

I purchased mine with the official haze fluid. Good deal, I thought. The first theatrical show I used it on, before we got to the dress rehearsal it stopped working and started leaking fluid. Credit to Chauvet customer service, they were helpful on the phone and speedy when I sent it for repair. Turns out there was a malfunction with the temperature sensor so the machine believed it was over heating when in fact it was stone cold. When I got the machine back it worked fine off of the manual remote. I’ve just finished my second show with it and once again, come dress rehearsal it started leaking fluid and refused to heat up. Oddly, when DMX was plugged in it said it was too hot; when unplugged from DMX the temperature gauge said it was heating up (But never did). I would suggest that anyone wanting to use it for DJs etc where you can use the manual controller, this is a good buy. But for someone like myself doing small scale theatricals it is a definite no go. I have given this two stars: one star for the machine’s cabaility when it IS working, and one for the speedy and helpful service of Chauvet Support.

Still is pumping out the fog and looks great! it is used at least 3 nights a week.
